oh mom! :)

Since the boys will not listen when we tell them to "stop growing", we had a pile of old worn out & too small jeans. I brought them to my mom yesterday. I knew she would use them for some crafty project. Sure enough, this is what she sent me in an e-mail today:

SAVE THOSE OLD JEANS !!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell your friends!!

How cute to put candy treats in the pocket and give as gifts.

Maybe I should have kept some and made some ornaments. I could have STAMPED on the pocket!! Too bad I'm not good at sewing. I guess I'll just have to leave that crafty project for my mom to do. But if you can sew & stamp {and have little jeans} there is an idea for you! :)

my new assistant :)

it is hard to get anything done when your 2 month old assistant is so darn cute, cozy, sleeping in your arms and won't stop smiling at you. :)
Kaylee Jo spent the night. {not that we slept much} But I don't mind, we love having her. Her Mommy is sick right now. {we hope you feel better soon, Nicci! We love ya!!}

a rochester visit

Last Sunday the Boys & I took a nice little drive to Rochester, MN.

Just past the "Corn Cob", you will find the cutest little Bed & Breakfast.

Also known as Grandpa Doug & Grandma Linda's. :)
The Boys didn't have school Monday and Grandma Linda didn't have to work. And since we didn't get there all summer, it seemed like the perfect time for a visit.
Sunday night we went to Perkins for supper. The boys were so cute reading books in bed.
Monday morning we had pancakes, then headed for an out & about "tour" of parks. We went to a few different parks to play, then we went to an Apple Orchard/Pumpkin Patch. We were starting to get hungry at lunch time. Grandma Linda had to stop at the bank first so we did... Only to find the bank having a Tailgating Party to celebrate the Packer-Viking football game that night. They were serving Hot dogs, chips and cookies. {Yea!! We "Scored" a Free Lunch! :)}

After our lunch we went to the Mall. {NOT Grandpa Doug's Favorite Place!!} I was looking for jeans for our growing boys! The favorite stop for the Boys was Barnes & Noble. The boys LOVE that place, not only do they love all the books, they love to play with the Thomas Train Table.

After the mall fun, we went back to Grandma & Grandpa's. Grandpa had to get ready for work and the boys wanted to watch a movie. Jabin sat on a chair {only to fall asleep!} and Evan snuggled up with Grandma. I seized the opportunity to do some more shopping without the boys. {THANKS GRANDMA! :)

Later in the afternoon we had to leave and make the 2 hour drive home. Greg was home from work by the time we got home and had supper ready for us. We missed him and it was nice to be home again!

Thanks for the fun time Grandma Linda & Grandpa Doug! :)
{and for stocking up the Pepsi for me! :)}

Oooh I love your give aways!
Let's see, the answers to your questions are:
1. when did you make your last card?? On Sunday, Chloe & I made Birthday cards for all the October Birthdays. You would have been so proud of us!
2. what is your FAVORITE Stampin' Up!item {s}?? OMGosh just 1?? Impossible! Hmmm. I would have to say the Idea book & catalog. I love it so much that I have to get it spiral bound now, thanks to you lol. I save them & have been known to memorize them! lol
3. what would you like to see "more of" on my blog?? Your blog is awesome the way it is..maybe some tutorials...I like to see how things are done.
4. is there a special class you would like to see me hold?? How about an altereds class & a gift bundle class. That would be fun.
Andy, you are amazing at what you do.
Keep up the wonderful job!
~Bonnie~
What does she win??
The book If you Give a Cat a Cupcake!
That may seem silly, but I know she wanted it! :)
Plus, I don't dare give her anymore cardstock or DSP, her husband would kick my butt!
Bonnie~ Thank you for your kind comments and for making me cry right at lunch time. I seriously couldn't talk to you about it at Stamp Class the other night, because I was tearing up again just thinking about it. I just needed to hear that I guess. It was a nice reminder of why I do what I do. :) Thanks!
The Winner for the "place an on-line order" $10 gift certificate goes to:
Heidi E.~ I will get the gift certificate out to you in the mail today.
Thank You to All for your orders & on-line orders!

World Card Making Day 2009~Update :)

I had a {late} start to my card making. With a nice clean space it seemed to draw in little guests who wanted to create! :) After Evan & Jabin got done with their paintings, I could finally get to work.

My friend {& Downline} Denise came over for a little while. She was busy using the Big Shot and I was busy working on projects for my Fall For All Class. Here are some sneak peeks:
I think you will like the variety of the projects you can make with the supplies provided in the class Fee. I called it {Fall For All} because you can make treat holders, cards and/or scrapbook pages. :) I'll get you the details soon...
